OUR 10 CORE VALUES

These Core Values are not just some arbitrary list of rules or religious rhetoric. Values determine culture and these guide us and are non-negotiables as we aggressively pursue our mission to lead people to totally love God, love people, and love life as one church in global locations.

1. WE ARE UNITED UNDER OUR VISIONARY – Harvest is built on the progressive vision that God has given our Bishop. We will aggressively defend our family like unity and his vision. We are one people doing something great for God.
   
   
2. WE ARE COMMITTED TO BEING 100% - We are 100% Givers, 100% Debt Free, 100% Favored, 100% Loving, 100% Blessed, and 100% Excellent.
   
   
3. WE ARE ALL ABOUT PEOPLE – People matter to God & they matter to us.  Jesus told us to go into the world and make disciples, so we unapologetically celebrate the decisions for Christ we see, the Harvesters that are actively serving in the Dream Team, and the lives that God changes through Harvest.
   
   
4. WE AREN’T TAKING SIDES, WE’RE TAKING OVER - In order to rescue our region with the gospel of Jesus Christ, we can’t think small nor try to make sanctimonious religious people feel comfortable. We will set big goals, take bold steps of faith, and watch God move.
   
   
5. WE ARE A KINGDOM CHURCH – We believe God didn’t create us to be average, but to be kings and priests furthering His influence in the seven areas of society of business, family, arts & entertainment, spirituality, media, education, and government.
   
   
6. WE HONOR GOD, OUR LEADER, AND ONE ANOTHER – We believe the Bible teaches us to give honor to God, to our Bishop, and to our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
   
   
7. WE ARE COMMUNITY TRANSFORMERS - We understand that it’s not about us, but about reaching people. We don’t accept the status quo in our region. Many people in our region are unchurched or dechurched and we are committed to changing that!! We aren’t about just having church, we want to be the church in a tangible way.
   
   
8. WE DON’T BELIEVE THERE IS A BOX – We don’t believe that we can win our region using 8-track ministry, while we’re living in an iPod world. We will be intentionally creative and innovative. Our limits are what the Bible gives and no others. Some may disagree, but they can’t argue with the fruit of changed lives. We will not cater to personal preferences in pursuit of our mission.
   
   
9. WE ARE KNOWN FOR WHAT WE ARE FOR – We love all people and we will speak vision and life over our people and the people of our region. We will lift up the Good News rather than using our platform to condemn anyone.
   
   
10. WE ARE COMMITTED TO MAKING DISCIPLES & DEVELOPING LEADERS – The Word teaches us that God’s people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. To counteract that destruction, we believe that we must not only inspire, but inform and educate believers from the “womb to the tomb.” We are committed to making disciples and developing leaders to advance our mission.
